I really did enjoy both films tremendously, but I have to say that All About Eve was definitely the stand out here. Over the past year, I've learned that I'm a pretty big fan of Bette Davis, and this just cemented that thought. The film was witty, interesting, and funny, and had some really fantastic lines.
I don't pretend to be a movie critic, so these film updates are usually pretty boring, I think, but really, you should try and watch All About Eve if you haven't had the chance to do so yet.
As far as Singin' in the Rain goes, I surprised myself by liking it as much as I did. I'm not usually a huge fan of musicals, but it ended up being a lot more funny and witty than I had expected, so I liked it a lot more than I thought I would.
And so with this, I get closer and closer to my goal...
